Right Ankle Injuries with Surgical Procedures

ID: exh82035
This is a single custom exhibit with four illustrations including a pre-operative condition, an injection procedure, and two step of the subsequent surgical procedure. The pre-operative condition emphasizes the grade 1 sprain of the calcaneofibular ligament, and the tenosynovitis and interstitial splitting of the peronus longus and brevis tendons. The next image illustrates the initial injection procedure where a steroid injection is positioned in the sinus tarsi area surrounding the affected structures. The next two images are illustrations of the later open surgical procedure that include the incision made to access the tendons and the suturing made to repair the splitting tears in both affected tendons.
