This exhibit consists of five illustrations on a single exhibit and is be based on the operative dictation from the procedure. Each illustration provides the viewer with the surgeon's perspective of the operation at key steps during the procedure. The first illustration depicts the condition of the knee before surgery. It shows the damaged areas of the patella and articular surfaces of the femur and tibia. The second illustration shows the initial anteromedial parapatellar incision being made in the knee. The third illustration portrays the distal femur cut being made and has an inset showing the cut patella with peg holes drilled and femur being cut The fourth illustration portrays the proximal tibia cut being made. The fifth illustration will show the placement of the patellar, tibial and femoral prosthetic components.
