Lumbar Spine Surgery

The client presents with complaint of pain of the lower back and assessment indicated that one of the screws placed at S1, from prior surgical procedure went too far invading the spinal canal and is now encroaching the descending S1 nerve root on the left side. A disc herniation at the L4-5 level also contribute to added pain in the area of the lower back. The inferior left screw at S1 is removed without complications and bone fusion procedure is performed at L4-5.
