This exhibit shows a female figure with medical devices and hardware in place after several surgical repairs has taken place. Fracture repairs with hardware are: sacroiliac joint diastases corrected anteriorly with plate and screws, anterior pelvic rim fracture repair with plate and screws, and the sacral and iliac fractures are stabilized posteriorly with lag screws. Intramedullary rods are placed in the femur and tibia. Medical devices shown are: cordis catheter, respiratory mask, arterial line and foley. Injured urinary bladder is repaired with stitches and the injured section of small bowel is resected and side to side anastomosis is performed.
