Left Shoulder Injuries
Left Shoulder Injuries

This is a board created in addition to the Evans Rivera case exhibit 79415 back in May of 2014. It was to further illustrate the injuries sustained by the client in his left shoulder.rnrnThis board compared the normal anatomy of the left shoulder in one image with three subsequent images illustrating the patient’s condition. The first injury image is the most external depicting the patient’s “frozen” shoulder with adhesive capsulitis. The second injury image shows more of the internal injuries including thickening of the synovium, a non-displaced fracture in the scapular neck, fluid in the biceps brachii tendon sheath, and tendinopathy of the supraspinatus tendon. There is also a third image inset showing the swelling the bone marrow in the acromion and head of the humerus.
