Traumatic Injuries to the Rubs and Pelvis

This medical exhibit illustrates the post-accident condition of the pelvis. The exhibit will consist of three images based on the films. The first image shows the post-accident condition depicting the displaced and fractured left ribs ( 5th – 10th) The second image illustrates the the complex anterior column posterior transverse fracture of the left acetabulum, bilateral inferior pubic ramus fractures, and fracture of superolateral and inferior sacrum. An additional third image features a superior oblique view of the pelvis. This view allows the viewer to appreciate the extent of the damage to the acetabular wall and the displacement of these fracture fragments.
