This medical exhibit features the pre-operative condition after nearly three years of surgical repair in attempt to salvage the right arm after a near amputation. This exhibit begins with an anterior view of the right upper extremity and includes the pertinent musculature and nerves as well as the internal fixation hardware of the humerus. These structures are ghosted beneath skin.rnThe key steps of the revision of the tissue and tendon transfer of the flexor carpi ulnaris to the extensor digitorum communis with the application of a sheet of silicone beneath the tendon are illustrated. Also, the key step in the split - thickness skin graft to right arm wound are included.
