L3 Compression Fracture with Surgical Kyphoplasty
L3 Compression Fracture with Surgical Kyphoplasty

The repair of a compression fracture of the body of the third lumbar vertebrae is shown here using cementing material and injected bilaterally filling up the vertebral body gaps. This is achieved through bone paths drilled out bilaterally through the pedicles to reach out to the affected area. Also shown are multiple transforaminal steroid injections administered at L3-4, and L4-5 as post-operative pain management treatment.
