The second illustration shows the exposure of the old fixation plate from C4-C7. The third illustration shows the removal of the old plate. The fourth illustration depicts an anterior discectomy at C3-C4. The fifth illustration shows the placement of an allograft spacer. The sixth illustration shows the placement of a new fixation plate at the C3-C4 level. The final illustration is a lateral view of the post-operative condition, with the old plate removed and the new plate in place.
