ACL Reconstruction Surgery

This stock medical exhibit shows anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction surgery in a series of illustrations. The first illustration shows the insertion of a guide wire into the tibia to mark the length and angle of the tibial tunnel. The second illustration shows the drilling of the tunnel around the guide wire. The third illustration shows similar preparation of a tunnel in the femur. The fourth illustration shows the passing of a cadaver tendon graft through both tunnels and the securing of the graft in place, providing a constructed ACL.
