Right Ankle Nerve Decompression and Hardware Removal Surgery

This poster exhibit depicts a subsequent condition after the ankle fracture surgical repair. The current condition include painful hardware in the fibula, entrapment of the superficial peroneal nerve causing neuropathy and painful exostosis in the posteromedial side of the tibia. The superficial peroneal nerve is released from the scar tissue, the hardware is removed from the fibula and the bony overgrowth is taken down and smoothed with a rasp.
