This board illustrates the final surgery that was undertaken to fix the left C6 screw coming loose.rnrnThe top section of the board is dedicated to the anterior portion of the surgery. The first images address the reopening of the full incision from right to left and the visibility of the scar tissue covering the hardware. The second image illustrates the removal of the scar tissue by shaver. The final top image shows the removal and replacement of both anterior cervical screws at C6.rnrnThe bottom half of the board is dedicated to the posterior part of the surgery. The first images illustrate the posterior midline incision from C3 to C6. The second shows the insertion and securing of lateral mass screws and rods bilaterally from C3 to C6. The final images illustrate the process of harvesting bone graft from the left posterior iliac crest and being implanted to the sides of the posterior hardware.
