Progression of Cervical Cancer

First, the normal cervix and vagina are shown from cut-away and speculum views, Next, early stage IB of cervical cancer is depicted, indicating that it is spreading. Third, late stage IB cervical cancer is depicted, including easy bleeding of the surface of the cervix when touched and limitation of the cancer to the cervix. Fourth, stage IIB cervical cancer is shown, including spread of the disease outside the cervix to the parametrium and pelvic tissue.
