This exhibit features two anterior views of a male chest with the heart, lungs, and major vessels visible beneath the skin. The first image shows a pulmonary embolism in the right lung and an IVC filter in place. The second image shows multiple bilateral pulmonary emboli, pulmonary congestion and edema, and thrombosis forming in the inferior vena cava and iliac veins. The third image features even more clots within the lungs and the iliac vessels.
