ID: exh72949b
This medical exhibit features two large anterior cut-away views of the male abdomen comparing the pre- and post-operative conditions before and after the surgical procedure. The first image illustrates the pre-operative condition showing the perforation of the anastomotic site with a grey dusky appearance of the colon as described in the operative report. The second image illustrates the post-operative condition following the resection of the anastomosis and entire transverse colon with a new anastomosis of the small bowel to the proximal sigmoid colon.
