Lumbosacral Spine Injuries with Surgical Discectomy
Lumbosacral Spine Injuries with Surgical Discectomy

This is a single custom board with an orientation view, a film interpretation and insert of the actual film, and two surgical steps, with a superior view inset of the second step. The orientation shows the male posterior with the lumbosacral junction outlined with a box. The film interpretation shows the lateral stenosis and compressed nerve roots at L4-5 and L5-S1, along with the actual film. The two steps include the removal of the laminae at L4-5 and L5-S1 and then the cauterization of the herniated disc material, with a superior view to better explain the process inserted next to it.
