Left Knee Arthroscopic Surgery
Left Knee Arthroscopic Surgery

This is a custom exhibit board that include two pre-operative images and four steps of the resultant surgery. The pre-operative condition is depicted with two images. One is a full view of the knee from the anterior with an inset of the posterior of the patella. This demonstrates the grade 1 chondromalacia and synovitis. The second image is an axial view and illustrates the medial and lateral meniscus tears. The four steps shown include the insertion of the arthroscopic instruments, the meniscectomies performed on both the medial and lateral menisci, and the inflamed synovium tissue being removed by a shaver.
