Laproscopic Cholcystectomy

ID: exh79334f
This exhibit board was used to demonstrate a later subsequent condition of cholecystitis of the gall bladder, as shown in the pre- operative condition image on the exhibit. The next four images illustrate four steps of the resulting surgery. First shown is the insertion of the laproscopic instrumentation. The second and third images depict the stapling, division, and resection of the gallbladder. The final image shows how the gallbladder is removed through the umbilicus by way of a endopouch.
