This stock medical exhibit depicts crush injuries of the left hand and initial surgical repairs. The first image shows the post-accident condition with a large palmar laceration and a small laceration at the base of the third finger. A post-accident x-ray showing the third finger fracture appears as an inset. The remaining images describe multiple steps of the repair procedure, including irrigation and debridement, reduction of the fracture and fixation with percutaneous pins, and closure of the lacerations.
